Report on the Garden visit t to Bruce Morgan and Eve Plants’ wonderful Permaculture Garden in Nambour on Saturday 26th March 2011
We had a very happy morning wandering around Bruce Morgan's permaculture garden. Thank you so much Bruce. It was a sunny day and we were able to sample many of Bruce's wide range of edible plants, and see how he integrates his ducks and chickens into the garden to work for him without losing all his plants to their scratching and chomping. Bruce was generous with his time, knowledge and his cuttings, and Isabel Shiphard was able to answer some of the more tricky questions on the edible and medicinal properties of plants.
Afterwards we enjoyed fresh coffee and a sparky conversation on green politics accompanied by delicious home baked treats.Thank you to all those who came to the garden and also to those who brought the treats.
